Social media post encouraging violence between schools

We are aware of a post on social media encouraging violence between schools and have been visiting schools across the town this week to speak to their students about it.

We would strongly encourage anyone thinking of attending this event not to do so as anyone seen fighting or wielding weapons of any kind will be arrested by police.

We would also ask parents/guardians to speak to their children to ensure you know where they are and explain the dangers of getting involved in violent or disorderly behaviour.
