Following a report from a vigilant member of the public, Two untaxed and potentially abandoned vehicles have now been removed from our streets. Untaxed vehicles aren’t just a legal issue — they can pose real dangers to our community. Untaxed cars: ❌ Often lack proper insurance or MOT, making them unsafe to be on the road ❌ Can be linked to crime or used in antisocial behaviour ❌ Take up valuable parking space and contribute to a neglected appearance in our neighbourhoods ❌ May be abandoned and left in poor condition, posing a risk to children and pedestrians. Thanks to quick reporting and partnership between the community and enforcement teams, this vehicle was dealt with efficiently — keeping our streets safer and more welcoming for everyone.
