Have your say on funding for policing in Northamptonshire

Northamptonshire’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Danielle Stone wants your views before setting next year’s council tax precept - the part that funds policing.

Policing is funded by government grants and council tax. Together Northamptonshire Police and Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service make up around 18 per cent of your council tax bill. 

The Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner are consulting on an expected increase of £14 a year for policing (Band D property) and £5 for fire services.
