In the late evening, officers from Northamptonshire Police (Neighbourhood Policing Team, Local Response and Armed Policing Units) collaborated and tackled a key local priority: motorcycle nuisance causing anti-social behaviour (ASB).

 What happened?

Why does this matter?
Illegal use of electric bikes and motorcycles is not just a nuisance – it’s dangerous and often linked to wider criminality. Our community has told us this is a priority, and we’re listening.

Our message:
If you own an electric bike, make sure you know the law. Riding uninsured on public roads is an offence and can lead to seizure, fines, and prosecution.

Together, we can keep our streets safer this festive season.
