Boston Close and the surrounding area. Reports of Anti-Social Behaviour. Local police have received reports of persistent anti-social behaviour in and around Boston Close. Residents are specifically reporting that youths are gathering in the area and causing a nuisance by kicking and banging on front doors. While this might seem like "fun" to those involved, it is causing significant concern, alarm, and distress to residents in their own homes. This behaviour is unacceptable and needs to be stopped. The police and the North Northants Council Community Safety Team are working together on this, but they require the community's cooperation to gather comprehensive evidence and take action. We urge all residents to report every incident they witness. Consistent, detailed reporting helps the authorities understand the full extent of the problem and allows them to use official powers to tackle the behaviour, such as issuing Community Protection Notices or Dispersal Orders. How to report an incident: In an emergency, or if a crime is in progress, always call 999. For non-emergencies (e.g., if the youths have left the area, or you are providing information on past incidents), please call the police non-emergency number 101. When you report, please provide as much detail as possible: The exact date and time the incident occurred. The specific location (e.g., outside number 10, corner of the street). A factual description of what happened (e.g., "three youths kicked my door repeatedly"). Descriptions of those involved (clothing, age, appearance), if safe to note. The impact on you (e.g., "This made me feel scared/unable to sleep"). Ask for an incident reference number each time you call. To report anti-social behavior (ASB) to North Northamptonshire Council (NNC), call 101 for non-emergencies or use the Northamptonshire Police online report form. For immediate danger, call 999. If you are a tenant of Northamptonshire Partnership Homes (NPH), report it through the NPH website or their specific reporting line. For non-emergencies Call 101: Contact the police for non-urgent incidents. Report online: Use the Northamptonshire Police online form to report ASB. Contact NPH (if you are a tenant): Report the ASB directly through the NPH website or by calling their specific ASB reporting line on 0300 330 7003. Contact your local council: For issues like noise complaints, you can contact the local council's Environmental Health team. By logging every incident with the correct authorities, we can collectively ensure that effective action is taken to resolve this problem and restore safety and peace to Boston Close.
