Theft from a vehicle

Dear Resident

We are appealing for information after a vehicle was broken into and a wallet was stolen in BACK LANE, HARDINGSTONE, NPTON

The theft occurred between 3:30am and 4am on 18th AUG 2025, when the items was stolen from the vehicle whilst it was parked on BACK LANE, HARDINGSTONE, NPTON.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft of these items or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. Did you hear any noise? see anyone? Would your CCTV have picked up anything around these times?

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
