Celebrating Raksha Bhandan

Our Hindu, Sikh and Jain communities celebrated Raksha Bhandan this weekend. Insp Miriam Kiernan, along with colleagues from the local Neighborhood Policing Team received a welcome at the celebrations on Friday. They were tied rakhis as a gesture of protection, respect and unity. The officers reciprocated this, as a sign of our commitment to protect and strengthen bonds between our communities.
