Shop theft and retail crime sentencings June-2025

We're committed to tackling retail crime and making it clear offenders are not welcome in our county. 

Each month we publish a round-up of the sentences given to prolific shoplifters and those responsible for other retail crimes. 

Our June release features almost 40 offenders and custodial sentences totalling more than six years, and forms part of our support for the Home Office’s Safer Streets Summer campaign.

This partnership campaign is working to improve town centres by tackling the issues that matter to people, including retail crime, to make communities safer for everyone.
