Northamptonshire Independent Advisory Group (IAG)

Could you help shape policing in Northampton?

The Northampton branch of the IAG are looking for members of the community in your area, like you, to join the local group where you can work closely with the police on the things that matter.

By becoming a member of an IAG, you can have a voice on police policies, procedures and practices.  You can be an independent voice and advise us on how to improve services to our communities.  

You will have the opportunity to provide constructive feedback and advice on police decisions and use of powers.  

You might be asked to provide a critical view of an operation, a policy or an incident. Your views, as part of an IAG, can help us to make policing more effective and respond better to the needs of the community.  

As a member, you can challenge our current thinking by providing an independent perspective and work as a partner with the police.
