ASB Week of Action

Dear Residents,

As part of the ASB Week of Action, we’re raising awareness about what anti-social behaviour (ASB) is, how you can report it, and the support available to those affected.

What is ASB?

ASB includes behaviour that causes harassment, alarm or distress to others. Examples include:

  • Fireworks
  • Parking issues and abandoned vehicles
  • Animals (nuisance, aggressive or abandoned)
  • Noise (nuisance)
  • Annoying phone calls or unwanted visits
  • Fly-tipping and other littering
  • Disputes with neighbours
  • Groups of people (nuisance behaviour)
  • Vehicle nuisance involving cars
  •

    How to Report ASB:

    Online: Report antisocial behaviour

Call: 101 (or 999 in an emergency)

Crimestoppers: Report anonymously at 0800 555 111 / online via crimestoppers website.

    Support for Victims:

If you're affected by ASB, you're not alone. Help is available through:

  • Your local council’s ASB team
  • Police neighbourhood teams
  • Victim support services
  • We're out in the community this week speaking to residents and working with partners to tackle ASB. If you see us out and about, feel free to stop and chat.

Let’s work together to keep our community safe, respectful, and welcoming for everyone.
